Birthday at Universal Studios

The Saturday before Samuel's birthday, we used our passes and went to Universal Studios. But this time was different. It was SAMUEL'S DAY, and he got to pick what rides to do, when to do them, who went with him, pick whatever food he wanted and basically make most of the decisions. We got there kinda early and stayed until closing time.

First he and I went on the Jurassic Park ride and then he played in the arcade (he did have a small budget there).

Then we met up with Aaron and Adam (who had gone on the Simpsons ride since Adam isn't tall enough for the Jurassic ride) and our friends the Koops. We all played in the ball pit area for awhile and then went to the water park when it really got hot. The boys played for a long time and then....

we saw Curious George and Sponge Bob and had some lunch (pizza, yummy!) and did a couple more rides.

Playing in the Coca-Cola water park area, he and Adam got soaked again.

Then he grabbed Daddy and off they went to do Jurassic Park again. While they were doing that, I volunteered to take a survey for a company and got compensated $10 Universal dollars! We used that to pay for part of dinner. After dinner, the park was closing, so we headed home. What fun! Samuel declared it a "great birthday! Thanks, Mom and Dad!"
