Our Apartment Building

Recently, our apartment building has gone through some renovation. It was a loooong time coming, but things are looking much better around here. Here's a video clip of our foyer and hallway to our apartment. The floor used to have orange (yes, orange!) carpet and dark tile (dark because of 30 years of dirt), the walls were white, and the door frames and elevator door was a medium blue.

The foyer was done in 70's style and everything was very dated. The apartments themselves have all been updated, but the main part of the building definitely needed a make-over.

Here's a video clip of the revamp. It starts from our front door and out to the foyer. There is new white/tan swirl tile, and tan and gray carpet. The walls have been painted a light tan in the hallways and door frames. The main foyer is painted a darker brown and has new modern furniture.

Here's a pic of our foyer. For those of you who have visited us, you know this is a big improvement! The individual apartments have all been updated as they came vacant or as needed, but the main part of the building was neglected for awhile. It's nice to have a building as pleasant as our own apartment. (Maybe more so now ;P)
