Turkey Day and Birthday

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We invited some friends over for dinner and games and had a fun time. And later that evening, some more friends came over for games. We also celebrated Aaron's birthday. Two celebrations in one! My camera battery died before I could get more than a couple of pictures, but here's the birthday boy and his Turkey cake.



No, not a cake made of turkey, but a cake shaped like a turkey. He remembers once in his childhood when his birthday had also fallen on Thanksgiving and someone made him a turkey cake and he was thrilled.

So, here's my admittedly lame attempt. Just to be a stinker, I made the actual cake out of red velvet cake :P It makes it look like it's bleeding when you slice into it. Yeah, gross, I know.
