Highlights from this trip- Adam is finally tall enough to go on the Jurassic Park ride, and he loved it! He wanted to go twice and Samuel was done after one time! That's unusual.
On the way back up the looooonnnnggg escalators, Adam decided he wanted to ride on Daddy's shoulders. He didn't realize at what a steep angle he would be on the way up. He held on tightly .... to Aaron's face. Cracked me up! Aaron was a good sport and Adam was coaxed to just lean forward more.
At the Waterworld show, Samuel decided he wanted to sit in the wet zone area, even though it was freezing out. The rest of us sat a couple rows back so we wouldn't get wet, but close enough to keep an eye on him. Well, he was the only one in the wet zone in that area, so he got the full on spray of the guys assigned to get the crowd wet. Most of the water rolled off his coat, and thankfully, I did remember to bring a towel with us (Thank you, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!). He looked so stunned when it happened, the guy took pity on him and gave Samuel a prop golf ball to be signed by the cast afterward. Samuel was thrilled and he could hardly wait for the show to end.
It was getting colder as the day wore on, so we left by 5pm. Adam, I guess, wasn't bundled up enough and caught a sniffle. He stayed home from church the next day, and from school on Monday but is pretty much over it today.
