Yummy!

This year, I had a goal to learn 30 new recipes. I had intended for those recipes to be for meals, but since the end of the year is fast approaching, I'm going to include recipes for treats, too! :D

These are some truffles I made for part of a present for the boys' teachers. They turned out delicious, if I do say so myself!

And I found these cute little boxes at Michael's. Much cuter than some tupper/glad ware thing, contain things much better than some little plate and cheaper than a holiday tin!

Just before being dipped in chocolate

My next project is chocolate covered cherries. So far they taste better than they look, but they're supposed to sit for one to two weeks, so the fondant starts to liquefy. Just like the store bought ones! Yummy!

I SO wish my kiddos brought me Christmas presents. I guess that's just life when you work in low-income areas. No $$, no presents. :( Very cool that you gave them gifts though! I know they'll appreciate it.
