Aaron got a job at UC-Berkeley! We'll be moving up there this summer in July/August. We're very excited and so grateful! He was worked so hard and it is finally paying off (after 6 years of graduate school!)
Aaron will be doing post-doctorate work, which means he's not a student but an actual employee of the lab. He'll be a post-doc for 3-5 years and then he'll be up for a professorship! At that point, he'll start applying around for a position at another university and hopefully, after some time, they'll offer him tenure. That's the plan and hopefully, it will go as smoothly as it can.
