Oregon Trip Part 1

Right after graduation, we followed Aaron's parents and our boys up to Oregon. We all stopped half-way at a campground in Sacremento. It was a nice KOA and the boys especially liked roasting marshmallows, running around the playground and sleeping in the motor home.

The next morning, we all went to the big train museum in Sacremento. Aaron's dad loves trains and even works with a group to restore old ones. He was like a kid in a candy shop :)

What a fantastic museum! They have some fantastic exhibits and some very knowledgeable guides. Our boys were a little less interested in the details and history and quickly made their way to the kids area.

I love the scared look on their faces here! I told them to pretend they were stuck on the front of a runaway train.

After a couple of hours, we finished up the trip and made it to Oregon by early evening.

A couple of nights later, with the whole family around, we had a late birthday celebration for Adam. He loved it and he loved having both Superman and Batman on his cake.

He got some great books and he loves them. He was a very happy boy and loves it when all the attention is on him :)

I wish I had known you were in town (I live in Sacramento)! But yes, the Train Museum is awesome. Did your boys like the toy train exhibit? Did you get to go through the sleeper car, the one that moves and has sound?
Good luck with the move!
