Spring Break 2 (Lots of Pics!)

The Friday of Spring Break was a beautiful day! It started out slightly overcast, but cleared up and turned warm but not hot. The East Bay Discovery Museum is an indoor/outdoor hands-on park/museum. Kids can paint, build, climb and play with various substances and on different kinds of structures.

Climbing up the hill to get a good view of the park.

View from top of the hill over the outdoor play area.

There were a couple of "shipwrecked" boats to climb and explore.

Adam liked playing Jonah.

There was a computer program that allowed you to design your own house or room. The boys loved finally putting a TV in "their room"!

The water table was their favorite part. The grill at the end of the table was a wind machine that would blow to make waves to push the boats to the other end.

Painting windows and then wiping them clean was pretty fun, too.

Samuel was happy to see the table full of magna-tiles and built several large structures. They played so hard for so long, that I wasn't really that surprised to see this at the end of the trip.
