Super Saturday Ideas - Help!

I'm the Relief Society Meeting leader (formerly known as Enrichment) for our ward, and we're planning our Super Saturday for this fall. We're planning to have some activities/crafts, but also some fun classes for those that don't want to make a craft. What are some of your favorite things from Super Saturdays or just regular Enrichment meetings, that you've seen and/or done? I'm trying to get a wide range of ideas, since we have a very diverse group of ladies.

Some ideas so far:

Classes: how to give a massage, how to write your autobiography, how to cook using your food storage, BBQ techniques, etc

Crafts: Christmas Nativity Block, homemade bath salts, making choc. covered cherries, stuff done in vinyl (I'm a bit sick of vinyl, but others still love it), etc.

I would love some ideas or suggestions on what to do or what not to do!

I am also getting sick of vinyl!

- balloon balls are a way easy sewing project - just a fabric cover that you blow up a balloon inside - makes balloons last months and months without popping - but when you are tired of it - you pop it and put it away for a while

- little girl hair clips - there are some really cute tutorials out there for little bugs made out of ribbon - all it takes is ribbon, clip, and a hot glue gun. Flower clips are easy too with fabric flowers.

- a class/menu for frozen meals

- file folder games (for church humanatrarian OR take home for your own kids)

that's all i can think of at the moment... good luck! let me know what you end up doing - I may want to steal it :)

You could try a class on photography - more on how to frame shots, lighting and such, rather than how to use an SLR

One favorite from our last SS was a menu board in a 12x12 frame(cheap at Michaels). We put a piece of scrapbook paper inside and then vinyl days of the week on the inside of the glass so that you can dry erase your meals for the week on it. I gave them to all my sisters and SIL's for Christmas and they loved them!

I love the menu board idea. Anything to help me enjoy cooking more.

Claudia Bushman led a few lessons about writing your own autobiography before they moved. The sisters loved it.

I'll try to come up with some of my own ideas.
