Summer Days

Summer is here and so is the heat! In the middle of June we had a heat wave of 99+ degrees for over a week. Last week it cooled off down to the 80s. This week we're in the 90s. Typical Southern California weather. I'm signing the boys up for swimming lessons this summer and we have lots of other activities planned. I've set up a loose schedule.
Monday is prepare for the week.
Tuesday is library story time and swimming at a friends pool. Wednesday is free movie day at Regal Cinemas and park day. There are a couple of parks here in Pasadena that have water sprays set up.
Thursday is beach day and we really love playing in the ocean! Friday is have friends over for playdates and family movie night. Saturday is family day and we do various activities or stay home if it's too hot or we're too tired.
Sunday is church and naps. Gotta have those Sunday afternoon naps!
And of course, we have our wonderfully large patio and kiddie pool to use anytime!

Love it! You could add to your title " . . . and the boys are holding the scissors!"

Welcome to the 21st century! For all your husband being a tech geek, I'm surprised it took you this long to start a blog.

And HA HA HA about the haircuts! At least you could buzz Adam! Having a girl attack her own head with scissors is much more difficult to repair or hide ... we'll see when one of my girls gets around to doing it to herself (or each other).

don't you just love the hot summer!!! Is it humid in California like it can be in Houston?

Great ideas for activities as well. I wish we were that close to the beach!:(
