Disneyland

Yes, on Thursday, we went to Disneyland! Our friend Danielle's mom was there for the new USPS Disney stamps unveiling and was able to bring family and friends. They had some extra free passes and offered them to us. We, of course, jumped at the chance to go! I love Disneyland! We had a wonderful time and completely exhausted ourselves. For summer, the crowds weren't bad at all! We were able to go on most of the rides and some of them two or three times.



Our boys are tall enough and brave enough to go on most of the larger rides. Samuel's favorites were Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, Star Tours and the Buzz Lightyear ride. Adam loved the Buzz ride too, but didn't like Splash Mountain because it splashed water in his face :P Star Tours was also a huge hit. Adam ran out yelling, "Dat was AWESOME!" They also liked Pirates of the Caribbean and the Tarzan tree. Anything interactive is a big plus.



The boys did relatively well. There were a few moments of near panic once when we had trouble spotting Samuel playing in a corner of a store. But, on the whole, they did well at staying with us.

The adults took turns going on some of the bigger rides and we all enjoyed ourselves.

It was hot and we were glad when the sun started going down. We took a nice dinner break and while we were eating a band started playing nearby. Samuel totally got his groove on and became part of our entertainment.



Our fast passes for Space Mountain weren't good until 11pm and by then Adam had fallen asleep. So, Aaron and I took turns taking Samuel on it. He thought it was very exciting and that it made his cheeks fly back on his face :P All in all, a great day! Thanks again, Danielle!
