Visiting Family and Friends

We had a wonderful time visiting family and friends while were up in Oregon. We loved catching up and playing with everyone. We stayed with Aaron's parents and tried to see all those that were available. We had a BBQ one evening and caught up with a few friends from when we lived in Corvallis. We finally got to see some of the babies that were born within the last couple of years and they were cute! Our boys had fun making friends and playing with them.

We got to visit my Grandma and Eddie, brother Joe, Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Clifford at Grandma's house. We had a nice lunch and chat out in her nice backyard. I'm so jealous of backyards, especially one with lots of grass. And Adam melted everyone's heart when he curled up on Grandma's lap and almost went to sleep.

We also spent a little time at a park in Dallas with Aaron's sister Jenny and some cousins. The teeter-totters and merry-go-round were the favorites. The weather was gorgeous that day and we enjoyed our short time there.

Adam thought spinning on the merry-go-round was just like "Spy Kids" the movie. In the movie, the mgr gets spun verrrry quickly and he was sure he was going just as fast :) It took him longer than the rest of the kids to get tired of it, but he eventually did.

Aaron got to have a couple of game nights with friends and had a blast playing Starcraft and Call of Duty 4.

I got to go out for an evening with my Julia to see Comedy Sportz in Portland. We had fun laughing and catching up. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of us together this time. So silly of us to forget, Julia!

The boys, Jenny and I got to do some swimming at the local pool. It's very nice with a lazy river, slide, water sprays and kiddie wadding pool. We enjoyed our selves for several hours on one of the hotter afternoons. Overall, the weather was terrific the entire time we were there. It stayed in the 70's and 80's and was a welcome relief from the 95+ degrees we'd been having here in Southern California.
