Newport Aquarium

While we were in Oregon, we went to the aquarium in Newport. It's small but has some awesome things to see. One of the high lights is the "Passages of the Deep" exhibit. It takes you underwater and through 3 separate tanks of fish and sharks. Very cool! The boys were fascinated by the windows on the floors and by the sharks acting out the "circle of life", so to speak. The jellyfish and sea otters were also a favorite and made Adam giggle a lot.

Of course, some time had to be spent in the children's play area. Adam looks like he got beached on the whale!

There was also a tank where it was hollowed out in the middle so you could look up inside it. The boys played with this the longest, I think. It was full of razorfish (very thin fish, hence the name) and some of them swam out of frame just as I was taking this.
