My boys love video games. All of my boys (which includes my husband). And almost all video games. Last weekend, Aaron finally finished the Metroid Prime video game and he let the boys watch the last few battles. They all loved it and for days all my boys could talk about was Samus, the main character.



They turned their camping mats into arm guns (like Samus has) and went around shooting at Dark Samus and other beasties that were in the game.



Turns out that Samus is a woman. But as Samuel says,"She's a really, really coooool girl, Mommy!" I have a hard time disapproving of a woman that can take out numerous nasty aliens, an evil doppleganger and can save the world, all before dinner time :)
