After4 1/2 years of living in Southern California, we have finally acclimated. This last weekend, it got cold for this area. Yup, it got all the way down to 48 degrees! It was in the 50's for most of the day, and got a little colder at night. We actually had to turn on the heat to take the nip out of the air.
When the boys decided to play out on our patio, after getting our Christmas tree, the bundled up and even put on their mittens! (Yes, we have mittens for when we visit family in colder climes). They love the patio and building "houses" on it (sound familiar, Mom?) and this time they decided to use a blanket for it. Blankets would normally be too hot to use :)
