Aaron's Paper and Cookies

Aaron's paper is done! And it's in print today! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! We're not sure yet how to get printed copies of the science journal that is publishing it, but here is a link to his paper online. Enjoy trying to read it (but don't expect to actually understand it unless you are also a Molecular Biologist) and looking at the pretty pictures. He had some help editing and etc, but the pictures are all his.

We are very, very, happy and excited about this. This is a summation of his last four years of work. One of his doctorate graduation requirements is to get published. No published articles = no pretty diploma. So this is A BIG DEAL! To get published, you must have done work that adds NEW knowledge to the world's store of scientific knowledge and do it before someone else scoops you. And he did it! My husband is a genius! (Picture me grinning widely and proudly).




Other news, we made Christmas cookies and decorated them yesterday. So much fun with little kids! They boys love frosting and sprinkles. Unfortunately, my boys noticed where I kept the food coloring and got into this morning. They put a bunch in our new toilet to make the water turn pretty colors :P
