Miracle Burn Cream

This is awesome stuff! Last Sunday, Adam couldn't wait for me to take the hot chocolate chip cookies off the very hot cookie sheet. He reached up and bumped his arm against it, but didn't seem to notice the burn right away. I didn't notice that he had done it at all, until a few minutes later he came back in from the other room and yelled "Owie! I need ice! I got burned-ed!"

We put ice on it immediately, and it was very red and starting to blister. We left the ice on for a little while and then I remembered that my mom-in-law had sent us some things to add to our emergency preparedness kit, and this was part of it.



We followed the directions and applied liberally and then lightly covered it with a gauze bandage. It was bedtime, so we gave him a couple of Tylenol and put him to bed. The next morning, the burn was half-healed! It was amazing! This is a picture of his arm that I took today. It looks almost like it did that first morning after. Adam won't keep the cream and bandage on, so we're just letting it heal on its own.
