Let The Summer Beach Trips Begin!

Last week, we headed to the beach to cool off. It's been in the 90s and low 100's for the last couple of weeks. There was much playing in the water and being buried in the sand and forgetting to reapply sunscreen. Thankfully, our sunburns weren't too bad (mostly on the face) and we recovered quickly. Totally worth it! The beach was a little crowded and windy, but the Oregon coast strength breeze was a welcome change. At least for a few hours :P



I finally got them some of those wonderful swim shirts that are light, dry quickly and actually have an SPF rating. Sunscreen shirts! How awesome is that?! Samuel insisted on a long sleeved one, but it's cool enough at the beach, that he doesn't overheat. And I don't have to brush off as much sand to reapply the sunscreen :)
