Summer Fun

I've been terrible about keeping up on the blog, but we've been busy having fun and trying to keep cool. Several of our friends have pools and have designated days when all friends are welcome to come over and splash and play. We've been very grateful and have happily taken advantage of the opportunities :)



Several times we've also used our annual passes to Universal Studios and enjoyed all the fun things there. Universal has a great water play area for kids and my boys LOVE it! They put on swim suits and get completely soaked and so cooled off that they shiver in the 90-100 degree temperatures! The whole area is set up wonderfully, with covered and misted bleachers for the parents to sit, keep cool and watch their kids.



We've went to Universal recently with some friends and it made it even more fun! This picture of the boys is one of my favorites. The Incredible Hulk is not called that by Adam, he's Hulk Smash! (said in a very deep, rough little boy voice).



Waterworld is one of our favorite attractions to see at Universal. The boys love getting splashed during the show and they are always excited and amazed when the plane crashes during the show.

We go to the library, the beach, the park, play on our patio with the kiddie pool and do all sorts of summer activities. We love the relaxed days of summer! But not the heat so much :P


Sundays are our quiet days, and the boys love to play board games with their daddy :) This is a combination of two games to make it even more fun!
