Boating In Idaho

We had a great time visiting with family, chatting and celebrating birthdays and eating a lot. We got there late Wednesday night and spent Thursday hanging out and recovering from the drive. All of us siblings were there and for the first time in years got to hang out all together for an extended period of time.

On Friday, we got to go out to Swann Lake and go boating with my uncle Mike and aunt JoAnn. They're great people and we had a blast! We drove for about 20 miles over farmland and rocky areas and suddenly we go over a steep hill, we see this! Out of the blue, a gorgeous lake! In the middle of nowhere! (as Samuel said :P )

Joe, Aunt JoAnn, Dad and in the mirror, Uncle Mike

We eagerly climbed on board and took off for the other end of the lake. Aaron, my bro Joe and I were first to get on the three man raft and "test it out" before the boys got on it. Unfortunately, I forgot to pass on my camera to someone else and there aren't any pics of us three on the raft together.

Here is Aaron with the boys on either side. Uncle Mike was nice and careful with them and nobody fell off. Adam liked it, but he was done before Samuel was. Samuel LOVED riding on the raft.

Proof that I was there too. Me and the boys.

Aaron on his own

The video clip of Aaron is fun, but the sun is behind him for most of the shot. He's hard to see, so I won't post it.

Here's Samuel riding all by himself. He was so excited and wanted to do it on his own. It's hard to hear, but he's yelling for Uncle Mike to "make it go faster!"

Here's Joe showing off with no hands and bouncing like crazy. Uncle Mike went a lot faster with the adults than with the kids, of course. SOOOOOO FUN!
