Christmas Morning

Before they went to bed, we gave the boys a clock and told them they couldn't wake us up before 7am. They did pretty good about that. Adam woke up at 5:49am and I know this because I heard the loud following conversation.

Adam: (Yelling) Samuel! Samuel! Wake up! It's Christmas!
Samuel: (Groggy, but loudly) Yea! What time is it? We can't get Mom and Dad until 7. (Looking at the clock) It's 5:49, that means we have to wait 2 hours and 11 minutes (I refused to get up and correct his math. If he ended up giving us 2 hours instead of 1, I wasn't going to complain).
They were good and stayed in their room (Aaron's rule) and played (LOUDLY) until 7am on the dot. They rushed in and "woke us up" and we blearily dragged ourselves out of bed. Then Aaron and I went into the living room first to plug in the tree lights and get the camera ready.

Here's the clip from them first seeing the tree this morning. Sorry it's so dark, but my sleepy eyes couldn't handle any more light at the time.

There were lots of presents, and we are so grateful! I'm just going to put up a few pictures

Desperately wanted board game Heroscape

They both got remote controlled cars from my parents and here's Adam holding his Buzz Lightyear one.

Anything Bakugan makes this boy ecstatic.

We saw this Yoda pillow at Target one day and Adam fell in love. The video is really dark, but he is really excited! It cracked me up when one of the first things he said was, "Oh, Yoda! You missed me!"

From Grandma and Grandpa Brewster they got TONS of Legos. TONS. Here's a clip of them opening up the biggest of the boxes.

Here they are, happily starting to put those giant Lego sets together.

We've had a GREAT morning and this evening we'll have some friends over for dinner. Merry Christmas, Everyone!
