Waiting for the sun to set behind the stage.
Adam didn't even make it a quarter of the way through. He covered up and slept through most of the show and was startled to wake-up when it was dark.
The next night, we went to an extended family get together to celebrate Aaron's cousin Eli's birthday and Eli's family moving back to Oregon.
I didn't really get any pictures. I was totally out of it that night, since I had taken half a muscle relaxer. I had pulled my hamstrings while weeding my mom's flowerbeds the day before we left Idaho. After pulling my muscles, then driving all the next day and going up and down stairs once we got to the Brewsters, my legs hurt. Thankfully, they healed fairly quickly and couple of days later I could move with almost no problems.
While at the Brewsters, Samuel decided to put together the project Grandpa Ward gave him. It's one of those kits for kids from Lowe's. Samuel had a great time putting it together and did most of it by himself. I didn't even know he was working on it until he came and showed me the finished product! When I asked him how he knew what to do, he said, "I just followed the directions! You should always follow the directions, Mom."
A couple of nights later we had a fireside, outside at the firepit. We roasted hot dogs and had Family Home Evening. Heath conducted, Michael and Jenny were in charge of music, Rachel gave the lesson, Ben and Amanda were in charge of the game/activity and Aaron and I were in charge of the treat.
Everything was great! The lesson was good, the treat (S'mores) was delicious, and the music was well harmonized (duh! it's the Brewsters!).
We ended the night with a badmitton game and then Rockband.
Before we left Oregon, we visited my Grandma Millie. Some of my extended family were there that night and it was fun to catch-up and look at the family photo album my mom had put together.
The boys had fun playing with cousins Megan and Alex and running up and down the block in Grandma's red wagon.
Megan
They played hide-n-seek and found Alex in Grandma's pantry. Which turned into another game of repeatedly opening the door to see what goofy face or thing Alex would be doing.
The boys loved it and really didn't want to leave, even though it was way past bedtime and they were exhausted.
We had a great time and my boys are still asking when we can go visit again.
