We got a tour of their amazingly lovely home and yard, admired Grandma Rita's artwork, and the boys got golf balls. We wished we could stay longer, but we wanted to make it to Oregon before it got too late.
We made it to the Brewster manor by 7:30pm and along the way we got updated on how Amanda's labor was going. That night, at almost midnight, we got the news that Ben and Amanda had a new baby boy! They had decided that since they already had one of each, that this baby's gender would be a surprise. And was Amanda surprised! She was so sure she was having a girl, she had gone ahead and filled the dresser drawers with girl clothes.
So here is Aaron holding his namesake. Yup, they named the baby Aaron Benjamin. My Aaron was so pleased and proud. He got a goofy grin on his face for a couple of days whenever the baby was mentioned.
This little guy is about the same length as his siblings were, but, at 8lbs 9oz., was a couple of pounds heavier. We were all the hospital bright and early (but not too early) the next morning to meet the new arrival.
The proud and excited grandmas.

My boys were thrilled to have so many cousins to play with on this trip. There was a lot of laughing, giggling, chasing and playing. According to Samuel, babies are cute and wonderful, but kids who can run and play are even better!
